The Woodlanders Art Exhibition at Burley Village Hall

The days are shortening and sometimes there's a hint of a chill but a warm welcome awaits you at Burley Village Hall in The New Forest with the artists of The Woodlanders exhibition.

Founder member and well known village resident Suzan Houching heads a cast of ten painters! Familiar faces are Brenda Farrell, Linda Easter, Christine Coney, Daphne Ellman, Lindsey Cole, Margaret Plant, Tony Clegg, and Danny Byrn and new this year Carolyne Viney. Between them they offer traditional to contemporary work across a broad array of mediums. Big or small, original or print, there is certainly something for everyone to enjoy and afford.

The exhibition doesn't just feature 2D art but also showcases an interesting display of 3D items Woodwork in many styles from functional pieces to beautifully carved ornaments come from the skilled hands of Paul Humphriss, Roger Plant and Nigel Chant. Glass work by Lucy Bramley, ceramics by Penny Stevens and jewellery by a variety of exhibitors.

Yummy cakes and tea or coffee are available at a very reasonable price and a chance to see the exhibitors working concludes what is on offer. Follow the signs and come and see us as we would love to see you.
