This is a holiday home set deep in the New Forest that's as beautiful as it is comfortable. The feel here is rural, peaceful, stylish and modern. Gorselands Cottage sleeps 8 guests, and it’s pet friendly too. The property features a huge garden surrounded by trees and woodland wildlife, with a staged seating area and some lovely garden furniture which sits beneath a substantial wooden arbour.
Inside, the cottage provides plenty of seating in the lounge and a feature wood burner for when it turns chilly. The kitchen is the perfect space for entertaining, with French doors leading out to the garden are just the cherry on top. Downstairs, you'll find a bedroom with an en-suite shower room – a good option for elderly or less mobile guests. Upstairs are three more bedrooms and a family bathroom complete with a large walk-in shower and a roll-top bath.
There are walks from the garden gate passing the National Park’s famous free-roaming ponies, and it’s an easy 20-minute wander to the village of Burley for bike hire, village store, shops and plenty of options for a meal out.
