A fun-filled games room, huge gardens and big social spaces mean this dog-friendly family home sleeping nine guests has something for everyone.
The National Park’s famous free-roaming ponies, donkeys and cattle are just the other side of the garden fence, as are walks and bike rides through ancient woods and vast, purple-stained heather plains. And with the sandy beaches of Avon beach, kayaking in Christchurch Harbour and fishing trips from Mudeford Quay being just a fifteen-minute drive, you’ll never be stuck for something to do.
Inside, Oakdale is bright and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches such as Sky TV, including Sky Sports, an open fire and a dining table seating up to 12 if you want to invite friends for dinner. There’s also a ground floor ensuite king-size double bedroom – perfect for multi-generational family holidays.
Mature trees surround patios and decking for sunbathing, dining and relaxing. The generous landscaped garden wraps around the house, and set on the large lawn is a fabulous adventure playhouse with swings and a slide - which will keep little ones amused for hours. Further down is a pretty pond and seating – perfect for watching dragonflies and butterflies in the summer months.
There are shops for provisions plus gastro pubs, eateries and restaurants in Bransgore (1 mile) and Burley (2.5 miles).
