Coronation Parade and Picnic in Lymington

The Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort is being celebrated with a FREE public event over the Coronation weekend on Sunday 7th May at Woodside Park, Lymington. In line with the Coronation Big Lunch theme, everyone is invited to this Parade and Picnic, to join in together and celebrate this historic occasion.

Lymington and Pennington Town Council and Lymington Community Centre have come together to bring an array of planned events throughout the day in this stunning setting which should appeal to all ages. Attendees are encouraged to get in the Coronation feel by wearing red, white and blue, or donning a crown or tiara.

In lieu of Lymington's annual Carnival, a walking parade is being held through the park, starting at 11.00am. 

Live music will be strumming throughout the day, with 2 sessions of a fun dog show, a sports day for all ages and abilities, kiddies funfair and lots of stalls selling items or raising funds for their charity. Bring your own picnics are welcomed, but an array of hot and cold food and drinks will be on site for those who wish to just turn up and enjoy the day.

Free carparking is available off Ridgeway Lane. The events starts at 11am and will finish at 4pm.
