This unassuming little cottage is a few minutes walk from the heart of Lymington town on the New Forest’s south coast. It’s packed with character and sleeps four guests plus a pooch, which is beautifully decorated and furnished with clean lines and muted hues.

A medley of top-quality furnishings and thoughtful touches such as cooling fans, electric blinds, and a wine fridge have been added for a really comfortable stay. There is a large log-effect gas fire in the lounge for out-of-season breaks. When the days are warm, the kitchen opens onto a sweet and sunny courtyard garden adorned with fragrant plumes of lavender, olive trees, and a soothing water feature. Acapulco-style chairs surround an outdoor dining table for morning coffees and long lunches. Plus, ambient lighting is on hand for late dinners and evenings spent chatting under the stars.
