With 65 acres to explore, Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Activity Centre is a fantastic accessible location in the New Forest National Park and the perfect space to safely distance and relax.

Avon Tyrrell’s unique heritage and beautiful site features a range of accommodation options, including a Grade I listed calendar house, lodges and camping areas. Through an extensive range of exciting outdoor activities and tailored programmes, we provide the opportunity for everyone to ‘Experience, Learn and Develop’.

For those looking for an adventure, we have a range of on-site activities, putting inclusivity and accessibility at the heart of everything we do. Get your blood pumping on our High Ropes Course, Tree Top Trail or Zip Wire across the lake. Relax on the water in a Canoe, develop your skills with paddleboarding, or enjoy nature at its finest through a selection of environmental activities such as Archery, Bushcraft and Shelter Building.

Hire a bike at the activity centre and access our bike tracks as you weave through the trees. Self-guided activity packs are also available for those looking to really explore the grounds including; Treasure Hunt, Geocaching and Orienteering.

Lodges & Camping
Nestled in the woodland landscape, our fully accessible Lodges provide the perfect accommodation opportunity for small groups and families to enjoy a short break together and If you’re looking to experience the great outdoors in a different way, why not set up a tent and camp with us under the stars. We have various camping areas, ensuring guests have plenty of space, accessible toilet and shower facilities and we allow fire pits and BBQ’s so you can get the full camping experience.
