About
You’ll find this large rural cottage for eight guests and a pup in the New Forest National Park overlooking Ibsley Common. It’s a truly beautiful location, surrounded by woodland wildlife, nature and the forest’s famous free-roaming ponies, cattle, and donkeys. There are endless walks and bike rides from the front door to explore this much quieter region of the forest. And you’ll find a great choice of good-eating pubs, inns and taverns to refuel with a tasty lunch.
There’s plenty of space for everyone to relax in Brogenslade, which, while being very spacious, retains a cosy, homely feel. Besides the lounge/dining room, there's also a snug with an inglenook fireplace and log-burning stove, which is perfect for chilly days. The large lawn garden is ringed by trees full of birds, blooms, and bushes, and there is a large patio area with a wooden dining set for chilling out together and al fresco dining in the sunshine. At the end of the garden is a wonderful wildlife pond teeming with damselflies and dragonflies from spring to late autumn.
Close by are the New Forest Water Park and Blashford Lakes for paddle sports, Liberty’s Owl and Reptile Centre, Breamore House and the cathedral city of Salisbury.
