Christmas Rag Rug Workshop

About

This workshop will introduce you to creating your own rag rug decorations which can be displayed as shown here or if you are happy to use a sewing machine or sew by hand or turn your design into other items such as a cushion or a front of a bag.

If you prefer you can also create several smaller hanging decorations or a Christmas wreath instead

We will start by creating a template and we will explore a range of different techniques needed to get you going including transferring a design, using the hook and prodder and the different stitches that you can use as well as how to complete your project

The workshop fee is £65 and includes:
Tools for you to use in the workshop and materials
Basic refreshments are included including snacks bring your own lunch
I will provide you with a wooden peg prodder to take home, if you wish to purchase the American hook tool at the end of the workshop this will be charged at the cost price (approximately £10)
