The Farley Hangar is an excellent all year-round secluded retreat, the luxury glamping location launched in Autumn 2020. Idyllically set between Winchester, Romsey, Stockbridge and walking distance from Farley Mount Country Park.
With stunning hilltop views, the high vantage point allows guests to take in the countryside including Farley Farm, in the distance is Southampton and the Docks, New Forest and on a clear day the Isle of Wight.
The beautifully furnished glamping hangar has a comfy king size bed with fantastic south-facing views, a bathroom with rainshower, TV with Netflix and of course Wi-Fi. Equipped with a kitchenette, you can make meals and sit out and relax on the deck or cosy up inside. Waiting for your arrival is homemade flapjacks, eggs from the farm and the award-winning local tipple, Test Valley Gin.
The property takes its name from its unique location set beside a private airfield on the Farley Farm Estate. The airfield only welcomes the occasional light aircraft, so will guarantee a tranquil stay.
The are plenty of things to do in the local area, from walking and cycling the quiet country lanes or nearby Farley Mount Country Park. A short drive away guests can visit the historic city of Winchester and taking in the sights of its iconic Cathedral. Perhaps discover the delights of the Test Valley with scattered picturesque villages and market towns, Black Chalk Vineyard which offers tours and tastings and the area is also known as the mecca for fly fishing.
