About
Within easy reach of London, Winchester, Petersfield, Chichester, Southampton and Portsmouth, the eight ground-floor self-contained cottages are completed to an outstanding standard, with quality fixture and fittings throughout including oak flooring, wood burners, free WiFi and underfloor heating fuelled by a woodchip boiler. They offer excellent accessibility (M1, M2, M3, H1 and V1) and both children and pets are welcome.
New indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi with accessible hoist now open. Games room and spa and steam room to open by the end of 2018.
The cottages, which sleep 4-8 people, can be booked individually or as a group (up to 54 people excluding infant cots). Each cottage comprises an open plan sitting/dining room (with an extending oak table capable of seating 12) and fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Bedrooms are twin or super king all with TVs and ensuite shower rooms and one bathroom. French windows lead to individual enclosed gardens with hot tub, safe for both children and pets, with patios equipped with outdoor furniture and barbecues, a gate leading to a large shared lawn.
Our newest cottage, Silver Birch, sleeps 8 people and has an extremely large, accessible dining area which sits 34 people; the lounge is very spacious and is a perfect place for family celebrations. The house works very well for food and wine events, pop-up dining and workshops for wellness and yoga.
Located in the South Downs National Park, Wallops Wood is year-round base for walking cycling and sightseeing including National Trust properties, Marwell Zoo, Paulton’s Park, Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard, historic Winchester, Goodwood, Chichester Festival, Grange Park Opera, Beaulieu and the New Forest.
Wallop Woods Cottages can recommend excellent places to eat out locally, help source delicious local/seasonal ingredients through fellow members of Hampshire Fare, provide home-made meals for the fridge or even book a personal chef – just ask and they’ll try to meet your requirements.
