Family Cycling in Hampshire

Many of the area's country parks provide excellent family cycling opportunities, including bike hire, such as those at Moors Valley and Alice Holt.

Opportunities to cycle off-road on relatively flat and well surfaced and maintained car-free trails are plentiful in Hampshire and perfect for a family cycling trip.

The New Forest National Park’s waymarked routes cover over 100 miles are also particularly suited to families. The New Forest also has good provision for disabled cycling.

The 10 mile Meon Valley Trail has recently been improved to improve access and provides an opportunity to link cycling with attractive villages and places to eat en-route.
