Mountain Biking in Hampshire

The chalk downlands of Southern England provide some of the country’s iconic mountain biking.

Whilst the 100 mile South Downs Way from Winchester to Eastbourne has almost legendary status, there’s so much more on offer.

There’s 27 off-road cycling routes to choose from across Hampshire, and a fine selection across the North Wessex Downs and on the Isle of Wight.

There are also mountain bike trail centres at Swinley Forest and Queen Elizabeth Country Park, with a range of beginner and advanced trails to try out.
