If you’re looking for a traditional camping holiday within the Hampshire Forest, Setthorns is the spot for you. Electric pitches are available but please note that there are no shower or toilet facilities on this site so it is essential that you bring your own chemical toilet.

You can really make the most of the peace and tranquillity as the pitches are secluded and private. There is an abundance of wildlife, and campers are often treated to visits by free roaming ponies and deer that wander among the grand oak and pine woodland of the forest.

Walkers are also well catered for at Setthorns with many routes going directly from the site. Sway is the nearest local village at 1.5 miles away, and Brockenhurst is three miles away offering a number of shops including a Tesco Express.

Owners of very large units are advised to call the site before booking.
