Surrounded by open moorland and heathland, with lovely views from the master bedroom, Owl Cottage is an idyllic 2 bedroom cottage with excellent walking opportunities right from the front door.
Owl Cottage is dog friendly and has a lovely mature garden that surrounds the side and rear of the cottage. Attracting much birdlife, the cottage is set within its own haven.
Inside the cottage has retained all of its character and charm with a few modern differences. The large L Shaped lounge lets in plenty of light whilst the two wood burners provide cosy living during the winter months, perfect for curling up with a good book.
The cottage benefits from one shower room downstairs and a further family bathroom on the first floor. Two bedrooms await you upstairs with crisp country bed linen, one double bedroom with forest views and a twin bedroom, ideal for children or a second couple.
Walk straight from the front door out on to moorland leading across Whitefield moor across North or South Weirs. The village centre is around a 20 minute walk with an array of traditional tea rooms, pubs and fantastic restaurants.
