Lane Cottage is a peaceful escape for six guests and up to two dogs in the pretty New Forest village of Sway. Effortlessly blending style and charm with modern comforts makes it a super comfortable base to experience a slice of forest life for families, friends, and couples alike.
Inside, the open-plan living space features deep sofas for relaxing and a well-equipped kitchen for preparing relaxed suppers if you don’t fancy heading out to one of the village’s great foodie pubs. Upstairs is suitably quaint with three beautifully furnished bedrooms for a restful night’s sleep in a king-sized master bedroom, a double bed in the second bedroom and a third bedroom with bunk beds.
The garden at Lane Cottage encourages outdoor living and is framed by bloom-filled hedges and soaring trees. You’ll find a trampoline and goal net for youngsters to burn off some energy, plus a table tennis table, patio seating, and a BBQ.
Sway itself has a friendly vibe, with village shops providing everything you need. The local train station offers easy connections if you want to leave the car at home, while the surrounding heathlands and trails that ribbon through the ancient woods provide wonderful walks and cycling.
