This cute and understated cottage is tucked away down a lane in the village of Brockenhurst, right in the heart of the New Forest. A holiday here offers a relaxing blend of nature and village life, with feral ponies, donkeys, and cows freely roaming the lanes and high street.
Little Chimes comfortably accommodates 6 guests and welcomes furry friends. It is just a stone’s throw away from the village centre, where you’ll find plenty of dining options and traditional shops—from butchers to bakers and greengrocers to stock up your pantry.
Inside, the cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished for comfort and design in equal measure. There’s a log burner for cosy winter breaks, a country-style kitchen/diner with all the equipment you’ll need to whip up a meal, and a wine fridge for those all-important bottles of bubbly.
Upstairs are three impeccably furnished bedrooms – two doubles and a bunk bed next to a family bathroom. Outside is set up for both fun and relaxation with a summer house housing a dinky table tennis table, a play slide and climbing frame for the youngsters and rattan sofa seating under an arbour to flop and revive after a day out exploring for the adults.
