Sleeping up to 8 guests and a couple of dogs, this superb cottage is the epitome of village living in the New Forest National Park. It is located in buzzy Brockenhurst, where ponies and donkeys walk the lanes and the high street, which is lined with shops to fill your cottage kitchen cupboards, cafes, and great gastropubs, all within a few minutes’ walk - it's hard to find yourself a better location.
Parts of the cottage date back over 300 years, so expect to see exposed beams and the odd low ceiling. The owners have curated a chic, comfy, country-style room in the generously sized rooms, ensuring plenty of space for everyone. The lounge features a toasty wood burner for when the cold nights creep in, and as the weather warms up, guests can fling open French doors onto the garden and let the sun's rays flood in.
Outside blooms and greenery reign around a blanket of lush lawn, providing a secluded and peaceful spot to soak up the sun, light the BBQ and dine on the terrace as the sun goes down.
