About
Join us on Tuesdays throughout the school summer holidays to learn more about the Tudor period. Hurst Castle was built by King Henry VIII in 1544 and unusually for a Tudor castle remained in military service until the end of WWII.
The heart of the Tudor castle retains much of its original 16th century appearance so where better to enjoy Tudor activities then in a real Tudor castle!
They'll be arts, crafts, activities and dressing up! Also, on 24th July and all Tuesdays in August our very own King Henry VIII will be visiting to check on all things Tudor! Be sure to greet him respectively or who knows what will happen!
Activities are available from 11am - 4pm and are included in your castle admission.
