About
Magnificent 18th Century neoclassical country house. The mansion was developed by Wiliam Wilkins between 1809 and 1816 from a modest 17th Century brick building to something similar to an Ancient Greek Temple. With dominating columns at the front of the house.
The property was due to be demolished in the 1970's due to disrepair, but was thankfull saved in 1975. The house now only permits exterior viewing.
This property also welcomes dogs on leads and has large grounds to walk around the house.
For five weeks every summer, The Grange at Northington comes to life again for the critically-acclaimed opera festival.
Please be aware: Please note that public access is to the car park and the grounds of the house only, and not to the surrounding estate.
