The River Hamble Country Park, on the banks of the Hamble estuary, is an ideal place to play, picnic, relax and explore. Enjoy a ramble around our fantastic ancient woodland and delight in all the seasonal changes; from bluebells in spring to the fantastic autumn colours. Discover the abundant wildlife from curlews along the river and skylarks in the fields, plus an amazing array of wildflowers, insects, and reptiles.

The Barn at Barnfield
Our brand-new visitor centre is a focal point for information and activities in the park with a small shop selling trails, activity packs and crabbing nets.  It is also home to our café (with indoor and outdoor seating) selling an array of snacks, light lunches and hot and cold drinks. Toilets are available inside and out and there is easy access to our marine-themed play areas.

Other facilities include: a self-service dog wash, BBQs for hire and an annual events programme.

Entry to the park is free, but car parking charges apply.
