Escape Yachting is a skippered yacht charter company. They focus on high quality, professional service on our sailing days, weekends and holidays. Escape Yachts is passionate about sailing and sharing that enthusiasm with those who sail with them. The guests range from complete novices to Yachtmasters - so you need not worry about your levels of experience. Those on board - of any age - can choose to sit back and relax and enjoy the sailing or get involved and 'learn the ropes’. It’s a great day out on the water for individuals, couples, groups of friends and family, colleagues and clients!
Escape Yachting provide a friendly, highly qualified and experienced skipper to sail the yacht and also a member of crew to look after you. They know how to relate to people with courtesy, style and discretion. Most of their guests have never sailed before, so they love to share their passion for sailing with you and work hard to ensure that you have a really relaxing and enjoyable day!
The yachts they use are based in Lymington in the heart of the beautiful New Forest, with easy access by road, rail and air. From Lymington, they are straight out onto the Western Solent. On a day or weekend sail from Lymington, you can visit harbours and anchorages at Cowes, Yarmouth or Newtown on the Isle of Wight, or Beaulieu or Hamble on the mainland - and also sail past the Needles. When anchored for the meal, you can also enjoy a swim in the Solent!
Escape Yachting's Sail with Lunch or Dinner price represents excellent value as it includes a glass of champagne on arrival and the two course meal – as well as the six hour sailing experience, professional skipper and crew, mooring fees and fuel. You are welcome to bring further refreshments or you can pre-order from the Wine List.
To have a private, exclusive yacht to yourselves, you need to book at least 8 places. The yacht can take a maximum of 10 guests. Otherwise, if there are less than 8 guests, you will be on one of the very popular shared charters. There will be up to 10 guests on board, which works really well!
