Based at Laverstoke Mill in rural Hampshire, just 15 miles from Winchester and 10 miles from Basingstoke, the Bombay Sapphire Distillery is in a conservation area with over 1000 years of history. The distillery showcases the care, skill and artistry behind every drop of Bombay Sapphire, and allows you to discover the flavours of the botanicals which make Bombay Sapphire gin so unique. All experiences must be booked online in advance.
Discovery Experience
Every Discovery Experience starts with trip to the Turbine Bar where visitors choose a Bombay gin to make their own complimentary gin & tonic. Relax in the to the cinema room and immerse yourself in all things Bombay Sapphire in preparation for the tour where you’ll explore the Bombay Sapphire Distillery with a distillery host to guide you. Discover the 10 exotic botanicals of Bombay Sapphire in the Glasshouses with an insight into Thomas Heatherwick's inspired design. Discover your preferred flavour palate in the Botanical Dry Room and find out about the unique vapour infusion process used in the Dakin Still House.
Gin Cocktail Masterclass
The Gin Cocktail Masterclass is an interactive session on cocktail culture providing the opportunity to learn and create cocktails with our Gin Experts. Uncover the history and versatility of Bombay Sapphire. Learn about the tools of the bar trade and discover tricks of the trade that will help create cocktails. Our Gin Experts will entertain with tales as they make examples live in front of you. Take your place behind the bar to make a cocktail or two then savour the fruits of your labour. You can join the Discovery Experience as part of this or attend just the Gin Cocktail Masterclass.
Creative Cocktail Experience
All Creative Cocktail Experiences take place in our exclusive Blue Room and visitors will enjoy a Creative Expression cocktail on arrival. Hear all about our different gin expressions and how they are complimented by different vermouths and mixers before bottling your recipe to take home. You can join the Discovery Experience as part of this or attend just the Creative Cocktail Experience.
