A Beautiful Georgian family home lovingly restored to its historic origins, Heckfield Place is at the heart of a bountiful 400-acre estate. Less than an hour from London the estate has been rewoven, connecting house and grounds in this secluded corner of Hampshire.
The estate creates a holistic environment helmed by General Manager Olivia Richli, along with Culinary Director Skye Gyngell
The Rooms
There are six distinctive room types in the main house, off the corridors and within the grounds.
Friends rooms
These beautifully simple rooms, found on the corridors, are on a more intimate scale, all with views onto the surrounding gardens.
Guest rooms
Cosy and perfectly formed, the Guest rooms are nestled within the House and Corridors, each looking onto the surrounding gardens.
Chamber rooms
Spacious and airy, the elegant Chamber rooms, each with stunning views of the gardens, are the perfect place to relax and explore.
Master rooms
These beautiful and spacious rooms offer generous living areas, each with a different aspect across the gardens.
Signature rooms
The most discrete and spectacular spaces, every Signature Room tells its own story, connecting to Heckfield’s history, and promising a uniquely personal experience.
Cottage
Nestled among the trees, the private two bedroomed Church Lodge immerses guests in the natural beauty of the Estate, making it the perfect hideaway.
The Little Bothy Spa
With restorative treatments and exclusive products from the Wildsmith Skin natural skincare range, the Little Bothy spa is the perfect place to work out and unwind. Guests have access to five treatment rooms, three studios for personal training, yoga and Pilates and a movement studio from the lifestyle specialists at Bodyism. Summer 2019 will see the opening of the extension of Little Bothy Spa which will include luxurious infinity pool overlooking the grounds and ancient wood.
Food & Drink
In Marle and Hearth restaurants and the magical Moon Bar, culinary director Skye Gyngell’s team prepares food and drink that celebrates simplicity, the seasons, and a sense of place
The Screening Room
The Screening Room is a luxury cinema with Dolby Atmos nestled within the hotel, where inhouse and outside guests can watch the latest films. Part of The Assembly, which cultivates a space to unearth, reconnect and rediscover, Heckfield runs a series of events, from talks to workshops and other activities.
