Hoppy Easter at Paultons Park

Every-bunny is sure to have a cracking time at Paulton’s Park this Easter as it rolls out its bright decorations including colourful giant Easter eggs and bunnies throughout the park. Easter characters Bobtail Bunny and Betty Bunny will be there too and of course there are the 70 wonderful rides and attractions to fill your day with fun.
Children's Urban Safari at Winchester Cathedral
3 – 5 April 2024
New for 2024, Winchester Cathedral is inviting children to join the Learning Team and the Gardening Team on the Cathedral estate to explore the grounds this Easter holiday. Activities will include learning about the trees on the estate, looking for bugs, and learning about the Cathedral’s composting.
ABP Southampton Marathon
7 April 2024
The ABP Southampton Marathon is one of the biggest running events in Hampshire with thousands of people taking to the city’s streets to run the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km Race and Fun Run.
All the races start and finish at Southampton Guildhall Square, where the crowds gather to cheer on the runners bringing a brilliant atmosphere to the city.
Southampton's Old Town Easter Trail

A free and fun way to explore the city, Visit Southampton's new family Easter trail guides you through Southampton's historic Old Town to discover several Easter eggs hidden in windows.
Spot the bunnies hidden in the colourful designs of the eggs and bring your completed map to the final destination, where children will receive a free small prize for all their hard work.
Winchester Bunny Hop Easter Trail

Pick up a free trail sheet from the Visitor Information Centre, The Arc or Winchester City Museum or download online and hop around Winchester this Easter following the annual Bunny Hop Trail.
Easter-themed words will be hidden in the windows of local businesses to help little bunnies to complete their sheets in return for an Easter treat.
Easter At Beaulieu

Have a Beaulieu-ful Easter this April with endless Easter fun at the National Motor Museum. Meet colourful characters, see daily motoring parades, explore the grounds and gardens of Palace House in their spring splendour, and look out for the Easter Bunny over the Easter weekend.
National Trust Easter trails at Mottisfont, Hinton Ampner and The Vyne

Easter trails with the National Trust never dis-egg-point and 2024 promises to be as marvellous as ever. At The Vyne near Basingstoke, children will work up an appetite with the activity trail, experience all the fun of a spring fete with the energetic Easter trail at Mottisfont, and at Hinton Ampner the action continues with challenges and activities suitable for the whole family – all with chocolate egg rewards.
Boom & Bloom at Winchester Science Centre

Flower Power is back at Winchester Science Centre with Boom & Bloom running until 15 April featuring nature adventures in Bio:Space, minibeasts, a live bubble science show, and an Eggs-travaganza Easter Hunt.
Step into Spring at New Forest Wildlife Park

The New Forest Wildlife Park has recently welcomed some new giant otter cubs and its their love of playing with pebbles that has inspired the Park’s Easter Pebble Trail and Golden Pebble Hunt.
There are also special weekend crafts over the Easter holidays including making badges, animal masks and leaf printing.
Easter Holidays at Marwell Zoo
29 March – 14 April 2024
Visit Marwell Zoo over the Easter holidays and help the Easter Bunny to find the cheeky egg thief with the Det-egg-tive Trail.
Keep an eye out for hidden golden eggs around the park and scan the QR code for a chance to win an egg-cellent prize. There will also be garden games, a special Easter tipi photo op, plus candy floss and fresh hot doughnuts on the hall drive.
Free Easter fun at Fort Nelson

There will be free Easter fun at Fort Nelson throughout the Easter holidays with a Bunny Bingo trail for younger visitors to find trail boards with Easter eggs on them to get a full house on a bingo card – with the reward of a badge for those who complete it.
There will also be special falconry events on 2, 4, 9, and 11 April with birds of prey flying high above the Fort.

Easter at Queen Elizabeth Country Park and Staunton Country Park

Roll on down to Queen Elizabeth Country Park in the South Downs or Staunton Country Park in Havant this Easter holidays for children's activities running throughout the holidays including Brilliant Bug Hunts, markets, and spring crafts.
At Queen Elizabeth Country Park there will also be the Big Butser Egg Roll trail – purchase a trail pack and see how far you can roll your rubber egg at Butser Hill.
