Welcome to The Meadow, nestled in a quiet corner of Broughton, Hampshire, The Meadow’s two acre setting is idyllic, peaceful and tucked away, yet still close to the convenience of this typical English country village.
Whether you prefer to take the rowing boat for a short lap around the lake, play tennis on the grass court, or sit quietly reading a book by the lake, your time at The Meadow is your own to relax and enjoy the stunning setting as you wish.
With our three unique units spread over 2 acres there is plenty of room to spread out and relax in your own private glamping area.
We have a stunning original Gypsy Showman’s Wagon ( Wild Billy’s Wagon) loving restored for cosy romantic nights!
Mary’s Place is a sumptuous trailer bedroom with bohemian style decor and folding glass doors looking out over the lake along with a stunning summer house for extra living space.
Last but certainly not least is our 23ft Springer Narrow Boat The Magic Rat, moored on the water next to its own private mini island. The Magic Rat has a funky recycled theme with tattoo art and a rock star vibe!
Each unit has its own large outdoor area with seating, private toilet, firepits, bbqs, fairy lights and cooking facilities (including covered shelters for those less balmy evenings!
Mains hot water showers (decorated and allocated for each unit) are just a short 2 min walk away.
The Meadow is popular for couples and is also available for exclusive use (groups of up to 17 guests) and events on request.
