About
Stay in this classy and beautifully furnished Victorian cottage which sleeps six guests in the Georgian sailing town of Lymington on the south coast of the New Forest National Park. The cottage, which sleeps six guests, is light, bright and spacious. It’s tastefully presented with lots of attention to detail with superb quality soft furnishings, towels and bedding. After a long walk, you can head back to the cottage and cosy around the wood burner on those chilly winter nights. But when the sun is out, open up the kitchen’s French doors and head out to a pretty garden laden with flowering shrubs and plants. There’s a dining set for alfresco meals and more seating in the cute summer house at the end of the garden.
The Buoys is within a toddling distance of the town’s lovely high-street shops, pubs and restaurants. Head to the quay for people-watching with a cone of locally-made ice cream, or pop over to the Isle of Wight for a day trip. You can swim in the Lymington seawater baths, which also offer kayak/paddleboard hire. And take a walk past the marinas to Key Haven Nature Reserve for some bird watching and views across the bay.
