Culinary adventures come to life within a few minutes’ walk to the high street, which hosts a Saturday Street Market. Among the historic courtyards and hidden alleyways are a multitude of independent shops, boutiques and a treasure trove of great eating options for easy meals out.
For those seeking sea-salty adventures, the Lymington Water Baths, complete with options for kayak and paddle board hire, are close at hand. Marinas and the coastal path are within easy reach, giving you sweeping views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight - which makes for a lovely day trip from the harbour.
