About
Dodgy's Nigel Clark, Mathew Priest and Andy Miller reformed in 2012 and have become a favourite on the Festival circuit.
They believe 'What Are We Fighting For', is their best album ever. It certainly was the catalyst that caused Rob Da Bank to offer them a slot on the Main Stage at Bestival in 2015.
Since then they have performed at festivals such as Isle of Wight, Camp Bestival, V Festival, Glastonbury, Beautiful Days, Wychwood and many more across the UK and Europe.
The first time round, Dodgy sold over a million records worldwide, released three albums and enjoyed 12 Top 40 singles, including 'Staying Out For The Summer', 'In A Room', 'If You're Thinking Of Me' and the Top 5 hit 'Good Enough' – still a staple of the radio playlists. They sold out the Brixton Academy for three nights in a row and were awarded an unprecedented 90-minute Saturday evening slot on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury Festival in 1997 just before Radiohead.
'What Are We Fighting For', the fifth album from the original Dodgy line-up was released on Cherry Red Records to amazing reviews and was the first collection of new material since their critically acclaimed reunion album, 'Stand Upright In A Cool Place' in 2012. It was also the first album to feature new member Stu Thoy on bass and vibes who joined the band to help them tour the last album and has managed to hang on in there ever since.
On release of the album in September, the band secured a session on the Chris Evans Radio 2 Breakfast show; the Simon Mayo Radio 2 Drivetime show, playing the exclusive of the title track from the album + a session with the legendary Bob Harris.
