The Stansted Park Light Railway is a delightful 7 ¼” gauge miniature railway run entirely by volunteers in the grounds of Stansted House in Hampshire. Situated near to the Stansted Park Garden Centre. With 3 platforms, engine shed, turntable and signal box.
The railway is approx. ¾ mile and runs approx. every 15 minutes. You travel up past the carriage sidings through and around the Arboretum, back through the station area, past the 6-road engine shed and turntable, over the 12-foot span girder bridge through the woods, past the signal box and back into the station.
The railway will take you on a lovely circuit that will provide enjoyment for all ages.
There is ample free parking within the grounds.
