Hampshire Hawk Walks offers unique one to one falconry experiences, with the opportunity to handle a Harris’s hawk or barn owl as if your own for a session.  

There is a choice of two venues, Chawton House or a private woodland nearby, both near Alton in Hampshire which are a stunning backdrop for a completely immersive experience. These environments enable the birds to have complete freedom, and hence demonstrate natural behaviour which is key to the Hampshire Hawk Walks experience, giving us the outsider an insight into their world and to learn about how a bird of prey hunts and  you the opportunity to watch them fly freely in a beautiful woodland and also to interact with them, calling the hawk back to your gloved hand numerous times during the walk and learning all about their behaviour and life in the wild.

Barn owl walks are also available for owl enthusiasts and those seeking an opportunity to handle and watch a barn owl fly freely in a very natural setting again one to one with lots of opportunities to hold the owl and feed him as well as take lots of photographs. 

Hawk Walks and Owl Walks are suitable for Children from age 8 and upwards and are a great way for all to learn about birds of prey and also many of the other animals and plants we might encounter in the woodland on a walk.
