CarFest
22 – 24 August 2025
Madness, Travis, and Tom Walker are amongst the top-billed music line-up at Car Fest South 2025, plus there will be dazzling cars, showbiz stars, wellbeing activities, and family festivities.
The creation of DJ Chris Evans, CarFest is a unique mix of cars, live music, and tasty food taking place at the stunning Laverstoke Farm, home of the former Formula 1 World Champion Jody Scheckter.
The festival is not only one of the top festivals in the country, it also supports UK Charities as the largest family fundraising festival in the UK.
Victorious Festival
22 – 24 August 2025
With headliners Kings of Leon, Vampire Weekend, and Queens of the Stone Age, Victorious Festival is again set to bring some huge acts to the south coast in 2025.
Situated on the stunning Southsea Seafront in the maritime city of Portsmouth, Victorious is a three-day festival over the August bank holiday weekend featuring some of the world’s biggest music artists as well as delicious food, comedy, a kids arena, and much more.

Boomtown
6 – 10 August 2025
One of Hampshire’s biggest festivals, Boomtown is a top event on the national and international festival circuit.
Bringing a world of escapism to the outskirts of Winchester every August, thousands congregate at Boomtown to embark on an imaginative journey through the evolutionary districts where every musical genre is celebrated from ska, folk, gypsy, reggae, world, punk, pirate, and disco to electro-swing, jazz, blue-grass, bass, jungle, and techno.
Boomtown is an immersive festival with storytelling and live theatre at its core. Each event unveils a new chapter of its ongoing narrative, delving further into the mythology of Boomtown.
Southampton Summer Sessions
13, 14, 15, 22, 26, 28 and 29 June 2025
After a successful debut year in 2024, Southampton Summer Sessions is back for 2025 with the city’s Guildhall Square transformed into a buzzing live music hub.
Headline acts include Rag'n'Bone Man performing on 13 June, UB40 on 15 June, and McFly on 22 June.

The Big Eat at Royal Victoria Country Park
24 – 26 May 2025
Free and food-filled festival The Big Eat returns to Royal Victoria Country Park for the fourth consecutive year in May, showcasing the best food and drink in Hampshire with an enjoyable side dish of entertainment and live music.
At The Big Eat 2025, street food vendors from across Hampshire and beyond will be battling it out for the coveted Hampshire Street Food Awards. It’s a fabulous food festival showcasing the incredible talent and creativity within the local street food scene whilst giving back to the community with all the profits being donated to local food banks.

Winchester Hat Fair
5 July 2025
Winchester Hat Fair – the UK’s longest-running festival of outdoor arts – is an eclectic and fun celebration that personifies the city and its artistic nature. Originating as a busking festival, Hat Fair takes its name from the tradition of the audience showing their appreciation by putting money in the hat at the end of the show.
Now, the Winchester Hat Fair delivers the art of the unexpected through a jam-packed programme of outdoor street performances, live music, fun, and games over three days. There is something for all ages on offer across the city and best of all it’s absolutely free!

Portsmouth Pride
7 June 2025
Portsmouth will be the host city for UK Pride in 2025 with celebrations planned for 7 June 2025, when Southsea Seafront will welcome thousands of people of all ages from across the city and surrounding areas.
A free Pride event for all, the event will include a community-led parade and two stages, celebrating the diversity of the city and leaving a legacy of inclusivity for everyone in Portsmouth and the UK.

Dogstival
31 May – 1 June 2025
Britain’s best-loved event for dogs and their owners returns to Hampshire in June, bringing a weekend of canine fun to Burley Park in the New Forest.
Expect boundless shows and activities, a giant dog splash pool for the pups to stay cool, tasty eats for dogs and owners alike, music on the hound dog stage, and a dog show where the four-legged can strut their stuff – paws-itively awesome!
Fizz Fest

Vineyards of Hampshire (VoH) Fizz Fest will return showcasing Hampshire’s premier vineyards this time at the Raimes Wine Barn and Vineyard, for their 11th iconic flagship event.
Taking place during English Wine Week, Fizz Fest offers the chance to taste Hampshire’s premium sparkling and still wines, talk to the people who are the heart of the wines, plenty of local street food to enjoy, live music, new masterclasses, and vineyard tours.
Winchester Foodies Festival
18 – 20 July 2025
The nation’s top chefs and music artists are combined at the Winchester Foodies Festival – a delectable celebration of cooking, tasty food, delicious drinks, and live music.
MasterChef Champions, Michelin-starred and top local chefs will be cooking up their signature summer recipes in the Chefs Theatre and the Great British Bake Off stars will be demonstrating how to make show-stopping cakes in the Baking Theatre.
The Wanted, Symphonic Ibiza, and Blue will be bringing the music, and there will be plenty of street food and drinks to sample whilst the kids join in the fun at The Kids Cookery Theatre.

Lymington Seafood Festival
11 – 13 July 2025
Eat and drink your way along Lymington’s pretty marina this July at the annual Lymington Seafood Festival – the ultimate summer food weekend full of delicious south coast food and music.
The Chefs Demo Stage showcases the region’s best cookery, and the smells from the BBQ, smoking, and asado fire cooking masterclasses will be hard to resist.
Take a break from grazing around the festival stallholders with a spot of retail therapy and it wouldn’t be a festival without some great live music with ‘Tina Turner’ taking the stage for Saturday’s tribute night.

Southampton Mela Festival

The Alresford Watercress Festival marks the first watercress of the season, the lush crop that flourishes in the town’s surrounding wild watercress beds.

Good Festival
15 June 2025
Good Festival is a family day out packed full of wholesome, good simple fun! The festival hosted by the Hampshire Medical Fund is an all-day family event for all ages. Good Festival takes place annually, every June at Dummer Down Farm in Dummer, near Basingstoke and raises vital money for the NHS hospitals of Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover to purchase cutting edge medical equipment.
Good Festival is all about the outdoors, with live music, wonderful food, local stallholders, alpaca walking, bubble football, Sharky & George fun, a slip 'n slide, bushcraft, archery, an Under 5s area, family yoga, basket weaving and circus skills plus more.

Named after the town’s flourishing fish, Trout ‘n About is a thriving local food festival that takes place in the market town of Stockbridge on the first Sunday of August every year.
