Petersfield Heated Open Air Pool
Open every day from spring until autumn, the 25metre Petersfield Open Air Pool is kept heated to a comfortable 27 degrees.
Swim your lengths with lane-swimming sessions, practice your diving from the springboard, or have a fun family day out at the inflatable sessions.
There are also hot showers, changing rooms, and a sun terrace to enjoy your post-dip ice cream.

Aldershot Lido
Aldershot Lido is the largest open-air pool in Hampshire and is the perfect place to spend a hot summer’s day. The Lido has three water flumes, a diving platform, a toddler paddling pool and sandpit, a basketball area, and a substantial picnic area.
Aldershot Lido opens for the 2024 season on 25 May and will be open every day of half-term (25 May to 2 June) and then weekends during June. The lido then opens every day for summer during July and August.

Lymington Sea Water Baths
A fully lifeguarded sea water pool, the Lymington Sea Water Baths are a popular spot on a sunny day. Try out the inflatable obstacle course with swings, slides, and balance beams, or go for a swim in the lap swimming section or family swim area.

New Forest Water Park
One for the bigger kids, the New Forest Water Park has two inflatable obstacle courses with trampolines, monkey bars, slides, and climbing walls to negotiate – wiping out is part of the fun!
The site also has wakeboarding, stand up paddleboarding, and open water swimming.

Splash Zone at Wellington Country Park
On the north Hampshire border, Wellington Country Park is a giant outdoor play area including a brilliant Splash Zone where little ones can walk through our water spouts and cool off under the water umbrella.
If the kids tire of splashing, there are also several adventure play areas, a toddler’s area, sand pits, slides, and nature trails to explore.

Fleming Park Paddling Pool, Eastleigh
The popular paddling pool in Fleming Park is free for the public to use and includes several water features for the children to enjoy. There’s also a large play area and sandpit for those who prefer to stay dry.
Fleming Park paddling pool opens from the last Bank Holiday weekend in May until the first weekend in September.
Southsea Splash Pool
Another great splash pool for smaller children, the Southsea Splash pool alongside Southsea Common has two paddling pools and lots of play equipment including a mini trampoline, seesaw, and plenty of grass for a picnic.

Hilsea Jubilee Splash Pool
With a similar splash pool design to Southsea, the Hilsea Jubilee Splash Pool is the perfect place to cool down on a hot summer day, a great way to keep under-8s busy throughout the summer holidays. There are two shallow water pools, play features, rubber safety surfacing, and picnic tables.
The next-door Hilsea Lido pool is having a major revamp so watch this space for its reopening in 2025 for its 90th anniversary.

Chineham Park Splash Pad
A great free option for Basingstoke, the Chineham Park Splash Pad features 350m² of splash pad area and 29 play items including a water mushroom, totem poles, a water cage, and water hopscotch. Perfect for cooling down and wearing out toddlers.
And one for a rainy day….Basingstoke Aquadrome at Basingstoke Leisure Park
If the weather outside turns a bit gloomy then the Basingstoke Aquadrome at Basingstoke Leisure Park is a state-of-the-art leisure facility with three swimming pools. The 25-metre pool is perfect for swimmers keen to swim lengths, the 20-metre pool has a moveable floor allowing a whole spectrum of activities to take place, and the leisure lagoon has three fun flume rides, a rapid river, bubble pools, water cannons, and a toddler area.
