South Downs Dark Skies Festival

The South Downs National Park observes its status as an International Dark Sky Reserve (IDSR) every February with the South Downs Dark Skies Festival and this year’s stellar celebration is running from 10 to 18 February 2024.
The festival includes physical and virtual events including the “Walk the Planets” trail, stargazing, storytelling, and nocturnal wildlife encounters at Queen Elizabeth Country Park and at Hogmoor Inclosure in Bordon.

Everyone’s favourite Peruvian bear will be braving new heights when Paddington™ comes to Spinnaker Tower to meet and greet visitors on 16 and 17 February. As well as all-day admission to the Spinnaker Tower, there will be free hot chocolate for children and a trail.
