Visit Hamphire
Catergories: Attractions

Autumn is a magical time to visit the Hawk Conservancy Trust. The warm colours on the trees and beautiful mists hanging over Reg’s Wildflower Meadow make stunning backdrops for their majestic birds of prey to soar over. There’s plenty going on during the day, as well as the darker evenings bringing the return of their popular, seasonal evening events.

Enjoy a new timetable for the rest of the year

From Monday 31 October the Trust moves into its daily Winter Timetable, with different flying displays* and a whole new team of birds. What better time of year to wrap up warm and head into the fresh air to watch iconic birds such as Sweeney Todd the Snowy Owl, and Saxon the Golden Eagle, take to the skies?

Until then, you can still enjoy the superb stars of the Trust’s summer displays. Be sure to catch their cheeky vultures swooping closer than you might expect, as well as Sam the Bald Eagle soaring over Reg’s Wildflower Meadow.

*All displays are subject to weather conditions and change.

Father Christmas' Flying Visit at The Hawk Conservancy Trust

Last year, Evergreen ruined the special Christmas pie right before Mother Christmas' famous feast, but got his comeuppance when Father Christmas asked him to clear up all the reindeer poo as punishment! He also needed to learn how to wear his uniform properly – fortunately Tolkien the Verreaux's Eagle-Owl helped him there.
