If you’re after an exotic Easter why not try the Wild Egg Trail at Marwell Zoo, participation will mean an encounter with the Easter bunny in his burrow and an amazing chance to win an annual membership for two kids and two adults.
Although Marwell offers a wild take on Easter, you could always undertake something completely different, in this instance a spot of waterborne egg hunting. New Forest Activities will be the host of this unusual yet popular canoeing egg hunt – although peculiar this scenic egg hunt on Beaulieu River won’t be one to forget.
Should Easter egg trials pose no interest to you, why not immerse yourself in the arts – Portsmouth Guildhall will be holding an annual Easter Pantomime, the production this year being the Wizard of Oz starring the much beloved Pudsey the dog as Toto. Other events will include Four Seasons Art Exhibition at Exbury Gardens, Nature Detectives at Beaulieu Motor Museum and Sparsholt College’s Easter Weekend.
