About
Midgham Farm is the 2016 Prima Baby award winning Feather Down representative and is located within woodlands that has been in the family since 1790 just off the New Forest on the Hampshire/Dorset boarder. The glamping experience offers a opportunity to relax in tents or log cabins spread out on the forest floor, with hammocks between the trees. This Beautiful farm is home to ponies, lambs and calves which can be bottle feed. Visit at certain times of the year and you'll see piglets being born and new foals. You can also get involved in farm life with the opportunity to help out in the stables.
The site is just 10 minutes’ walk away from a long stretch of River Avon. Areas of the river are reserved for guests wishing booked a fly fishing lesson (15 April to 30 Sept).
There is a new paddock on the way to the tents, a new pig pen, a new goat pen play and an area for rabbits. The woodland streams are ideal for a paddle or leisurely game of Pooh sticks and if you're quiet deer can often be spotted in the grounds. One site there are 4 campfires for a get-together too and ideal for toasting marshmallows and for children there is a rope swings and climbing ropes plus sand pits with sit-on diggers.
Dogs are welcome until 1st of July but must be on a lead at all times. You'll find a onsite honesty shop which has an espresso machine for all glampers to use.
Off the farm there are many cosy country pubs nearby and the Frogham's Foresters has donkeys in the car park! A 10-minute drive will take you to both the New Forest Water Park, and Somerley House that offers varied fairs, festivals and activities. Moors Valley Country Park is home to Go Ape and a children's play trail. Paulton's Park theme park is just 16 miles away and is a great day out for all the family. Want to head back in time?
