This spacious single-story abode is just a short toddle to the beach and the exceptional restaurants and pubs Milford on Sea is so well known for. Inside offers the perfect holiday escape, with bright, cheerful rooms sprinkled with nautical and seaside themes. Bedrooms one and two offer twin 3ft beds and a king-size double, and bedroom three features a 3 ft single bed with a trundle underneath, giving the flexibility of being a single or twin. Add comfortable sofas, a cosy fire for when the weather turns chilly, and a well-equipped kitchen with patio doors to the pretty south-facing garden of a grassy lawn lined with flower-filled borders and outdoor dining furniture.
If you don’t fancy walking the one-and-a-half-mile pebble spit from Milford on Sea to King Henry VIII’s coastal fortress Hurst Castle, there’s a little ferry boat service between Keyhaven harbour to the castle entrance. A little further along the coast are Barton-on-Sea and Highcliffe, where you can visit Highcliffe Castle former home of London department store owner Harry Selfridge, which appeared on the hit TV series of the same name.
