Whether you're a Dancing on Ice champion, a total newbie or just about anything in between, you can be sure to find some festive euphoria on the surface of Southampton's real ice rink.

The rink is held within the Esplanade, next to the Medieval Walls and Westquay South, which has been magically brought to life for the Christmas season and the perfect place for Ice Skating in Southampton.

The rink is 900 sqm of real ice and this year SKATE Southamptin are very excited to announce the introduction of the brand-new SKATE path. Glide your way through a winter paradise of alpine fauna and festive lighting. This, combined with an upgraded ice resurfacing machine and the more comfortable skates means SKATE Southampton is going to be THE winter destination of choice.

Westquay offers extensive car parking, with over 4,000 spaces, split between the Multi-storey and the Podium. Both car parks are safe, secure and easily accessible for all shoppers with customer collection points conveniently located in the Podium car park. Park in confidence with the added reassurance of our Park Mark Award and then shop at your own pace. 

The rink will be open from the 11th November 2022 until the 8th January 2023.

If skating’s not your thing then head to Moguls Bar next to the rink, a lovely warm Alpine bar retreat serving mulled wine and steamy hot chocolates to your cosy armchair.
