Southampton will be experiencing one of the worlds most famous Bavarian festivals in October. Originally started in Munich, Germany, Oktoberfest has taken the UK by storm with many events taking place in all major cities. With that being said, the event is looking forward to bringing something very special to Southampton. You can expect the full Oktoberfest experience, with traditional Bavarian drinks, food and live Oompah bands.

The idea of Oktoberfest is to indulge yourself in some of the world's finest beverages. With a number of top UK suppliers on board, Oktoberfest are hoping to bring some of the world's best beers & drinks to Southampton. Not only will there be beer on offer, they’ll have a selection of fine wines, spirits & proescco readily available at the bar to quench your thirst! A selection of soft drinks will also be sold for non drinkers / designated drivers.

No Oktoberfest is complete without a traditional food court! With plenty of food options on offer, you will be spoilt for choice. German sausages, schnitzel & the famous pretzel's will be just a few options on offer this year. The event will have a number of food vendors providing you with hot food through the event.

On the stage there will be a number of Oompha bands from the UK will be performing throughout the sessions. Get those dancing shoes on, you'll be needing them! Fancy dress is optional.
