Dr Greg Bailey, 28 and Jude Massey, 19 are half brothers from Lymington who have recently completed their Guinness World Record Breaking ocean row across the Atlantic Ocean in memory of their late father/stepfather. The voyage aimed to raise awareness of the illness, skin cancer which, took their father's/ step father's life in 2015 when Jude was aged just 16.
The brothers will lead you on an exciting and visually stimulating experience as they journey with you together on the mighty Atlantic Ocean by rowing boat (using human power alone) for 53 days rowing continuously day and night between the pair of them. The adversity they faced being so far from home, so sleep deprived and loosing piece after piece of vital equipment gave them a new outlook on life. Capsizing, enduring injuries and being followed by a shark was their daily struggle, but mixed with the magical clear nights under the stars and endless sunsets and sunrise, they guide you through the journey of a lifetime as Jude becomes the youngest man in the world to complete the crossing and become a Guinness World Record holder.
Non residential price £75 to include; arrival coffee, a talk by Dr Greg Bailey and Jude Massey, a pre-lunch drink followed by three course lunch with coffee and chocolates and your choice of a glass of red or white wine.
Chewton Glen are pleased to support this event and will be donating £10 from each ticket sold to The British Skin Foundation Charity.
