The Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series is the equivalent F1 on water, with 45 foot catamarans flying (known as foiling) above the water up to 50 mph racing against one and other.
The America’s Cup World Series is a succession 5 qualifying events held across the globe, with all the teams aiming to get to the final in Bermuda for 35th America’s Cup in 2017.
Britain’s four time Olympic gold medallist sailor Sir Ben Ainslie will be looking to lead his team Land Rover BAR to victory again in Portsmouth after his team won in 2015.

The Portsmouth event has attracted over 240,000 people across the weekends. Spectators were able to watch the racing in three areas; free to view ticketless area on Southsea Common, however the best places to watch the action will be in the Race Village or on the water.
