Taking place from the 31st October until the 4th November, Poppy Fields is a poignant light and sound show taking you on an immersive journey around Winchester Cathedral. The art works reflect on the end of world war one and world war two as well as looking ahead for peace in our world.

Accompanying the projections is specially composed music by David Harper and poetry recorded by Oscar-winning actor, Eddie Redmayne and we are giving away a family ticket to one lucky winner for Tuesday 31st October at 6.45pm.

The competition closes at 11.59pm on Sunday 15th October 2023. 

We will choose the winner on Monday 16th October. The prize must be used on Tuesday 31st October at 6.45pm. 

T&Cs summary

• The prize is a family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children to a showing of ‘Poppy Fields’ Immersive Light & Sound Show by Luxmuralis at Winchester Cathedral.
• The winner will be selected from entrants who follow Visit Hampshire and Winchester Cathedral on Instagram, and have commented on Visit Hampshire’s Instagram post. The winner will have entered the competition by closing date.
• The competition is not open to Hampshire County Council or Winchester Cathedral's staff or their immediate family.
• Multiple entries per person are permitted for the competition and all entrants must be over 18.
• Competition is only open to UK residents.
• All travel costs, meals and incidentals are not included within the competition prize.
• Prize must be used on Tuesday 31st October at 6.45pm. 
• Entries for the competition close 11.59pm Sunday 15 October 2023 and a winner will be chosen at random and contacted on Monday 16th October 2023. 
• The ticket cannot be resold, exchanged, and has no monetary value. The ticket is for the named winner only.
