Woodmill is an outdoor multi-activity centre located on the River Itchen. This makes it a perfect location for your next adventure. The Centre has extensive grounds of 17 acres offering a wide range of activities for adults and young people and families including: Paddles to the pub, boat hire, family active adventure days, Discovery Days & children’s school holiday activities.

The Centre has extensive grounds of 17 acres offering a wide range of activities for adults and young people including: Paddlesport, Low and Hight Ropes, Bushcraft, Kayaking, Fishing, Abseiling, Orienteering, Climbing, Trapeze, Archery, Tunnelling, Bridge Making, Rafting, Shelter Building, Challenge Course and Environmental Studies all year round.

Woodmill have a variety of off ground, land based and water based activities to choose from, and have drop in activities as well as scheduled classes available, as well as Ofsted registered childcare.

Parties, individual and group courses, clubs, tasters and activities are offered. All teaching staff are trained and qualified to national standards for water sports and land activities.

All of the activities are fantastic sports which can be enjoyed by everyone no matter who you are. If you would like to have a go at either paddling or climbing the centre runs 3 hour taster sessions from May to September. The Centre will supply all the specialist equipment and protective clothing to keep you warm and safe. All you need is a pair of non slip shoes (which may get wet). The fully qualified instructors will give you expert tuition to get out and about and enjoying yourself in no time in a safe and stimulating environment.
