Miller's Ark Animals

About

Miller's Ark is a traditional working farm which holds regular Open Days aiming to encourage interaction with a whole range of friendly farm animals through cuddles and sometimes grooming. Dependant on the time of year you can enjoy cuddling the lambs and goat kids, although when they are really young it will just be viewing. We also have kune kune pigs, miniature Mediterranean donkeys, Daisy our Shire horse and Nancy our American mammoth donkey.

We also have birds and ducks on the farm although due to government regulations after avian flu we no longer do handling. 

Once a month we also have adult only open days where you can come along to the farm with no children present and you can have all the cuddles you want. 

As well as Open Days the farm also offers a mobile farm service for visting various establishments, birthday parties, Farmer 4 a day (children 5-15) and red letter days for the adults. 

The tea barn is open between 10.30 – 4.00 on open days only. The cafe continues to provide delicious daily specials including slow roast garlic, thyme and rosemary infused lamb, bacon, avocado and grilled halloumi panini, plus all the old favourites with many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. 

There is also an amazing selection of cake (including gluten free and vegan), Fair Trade coffee, tea and hot chocolate. 

Admission is via tickets which can be purchased on our website via Ticket Source. You need to ensure that you have purchased a ticket before you come as if a slot is sold out we cannot admit you.
