The Wardrobe has a long and fascinating history. From its inception in the late 1970s with a stock of Royal Opera House costumes, it has grown to become Hampshire’s leading theatrical costume hire service, offering premium quality costumes at affordable prices. Initially a resource for schools and drama groups, in 2007 the wardrobe opened its doors to the general public in 2014.

Prices are very competitive, with basic outfits starting at £20 and accessories from as little as £2.50. Items can be hired individually with a minimum spend of only £10.00, so you can hire as much or as little as you need.
