This medium-length ride combines some of the prettiest villages in the Meon Valley with spectacular views over both the valley to the north and the Solent including the Isle of Wight to the south.

The ride starts at Petersfield Station, which is served by regular train services on the London to Portsmouth line. The route leaves Petersfield on quiet roads and cycle tracks before turning west towards the Meon Valley and the chocolate box village of East Meon. From here, the ride climbs over Teglease Down before dropping down to the River Meon at Soberton. After this, the route returns to Petersfield via Hambledon (the 'Cradle of Cricket') and Clanfield and the very pretty New Barn Lane through the aptly named Head Down Plantation.
