You are here > Home > Things to Do > Breamore Old Railway Line Walk
This 2 miles walk follows a disused railway line on the edge of the New Forest National Park. The walk runs from Burgate Cross, just north of Fordingbridge, northwars to the old station in Breamore Village and then continues to South Charford.
The path is now a firm and level walking route along the Avon Valley with attractive views of the surrounding countryside and wildlife.
The line connects with other footpaths to provide the opportunity for an easy linear walk, or as part of a longer circular route taking in the New Forest or the high ground west of Breamore Village.
Start point: Burgate Cross, SP6 1LZ
Distance: 2 miles
Places to eat: Bat and Ball in Breamore village
