Eastleigh is part of the picturesque Hamble Valley area stretching along the River Hamble and Solent, including Bishop's Waltham, Bursledon, Botley, Netley Abbey, and Hamble.
The Spitfire prototype was launched from Eastleigh Aerodrome back in 1936, now known as Southampton International Airport located on the outskirts of town. The entrance to the airport now proudly displays a replica Spitfire.
Eastleigh is easy to get to being located very close to the M27 and M3 Motorways, to the south of the town is Southampton Airport. Eastleigh train station is in the heart of the town and links directly to London and the North of England.
Eastleigh has a bustling town centre with plenty of things to do. Families will enjoy Lakeside Country Park & Steam Railway, popular for fishing and easy strolls or a walk or cycle through nearby Stoke Park Wood.
At the heart of Eastleigh town centre is The Point, a contemporary performance space that offers a diverse programme of dance, theatre, comedy, film, children's theatre and music. The venue also runs many different dance classes for all ages and a great youth theatre and youth dance company. In the evenings you can also visit the 9 screen cinema and bowling complex at the Swan shopping centre. The Swan shopping centre has all of the well known high street retailers.
Put your pedal to the metal with high octane fun at Team-Sport Indoor Karting, a 450m indoor course with fly over and under pass.
Eastleigh is well situated to if you want visit to other parts of Hampshire such as the New Forest, Winchester, Southampton and Portsmouth. Popular attractions nearby are Burseldon Brickworks, Paultons Park, Home of Peppa Pig World, Marwell Zoo, Winchester Catherdral and Southampton Football Club.

There are many community events taking place throughout the year some of our favourites are Eastleigh Unwrapped and the Garden Sessions.
Eastleigh Unwrapped is held annually in June in the town centre and Leigh Road Recreation Ground. Visitors can see the spectacular running aerial theatre, circus, interactive performances and live music. Eastleigh Unwrapped is run by the Point and is a free!
The Garden Sessions are run throughout the warmer months and are organised by The Point in association with SoCo Music Project. Check out the guest artists perform live music at the Point’s Outdoor Garden Stage.
Eastleigh also has its very own Summer music festival. Described as a "hidden gem" Eastleigh music festival has in the past seen performances by Badly Drawn Boy, British Sea Power, Cara Dillon and Seth Lakeman. The 3 day festival culminates in the Eastleigh Mela, a popular multi-cultural event with a great programme of dance, music, food and activities from around the globe.
Eastleigh has a selection of branded hotels including Holiday Inn and Travelodge. On the outskirts of the town is Ellington Lodge at The Concorde Club and travel a little further and stay at the Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl where visitors and can also see high quality domestic and international cricket matches.
