About

Each of our shepherd's huts for two has been designed and made in Hampshire and is individually furnished. Each shepherd's hut on the Summerdown estate is unique in its character, design and style but all enjoy the delightful fragrance of our award-winning mint and lemongrass body, bath and home collection.

Inside you'll find jars of our own peppermint and camomile tea (grown in fields just over the hedgerow) along with some of our favourite food and drinks from British producers (Cambrook Nuts, Two Farmers crisps, Hill Farm Juice, Clipper Hot chocolate, The Cold Pressed Oil company, Moon Roast Coffee and Brew Tea), in your welcome basket and adorning the handmade oak shelves.

All the huts are furnished with full-size double Emma premium mattresses, 100% crisp-cotton bedding and throws from Weaver Green and tardis-like showers.

The living space hosts a Hobbit wood burner and a mini kitchen area with oak worktops and bespoke cupboards. You won't need to worry about what to cook on (or with!) as all cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are provided. A fridge and small freezer space, as well as a two ring induction hob and toaster, are fitted into the kitchen area.

Outside your hut, there is a secluded space ready for you to relax and unwind; dip into the jars of chocolate digestives and marshmallows to make smores at the fire-pit or fire up the Weber BBQ with locally produced lump wood charcoal (when available). All of our outdoor furniture is hand-made and locally sourced almost exclusively from wood grown on the estate.
