Situated on the northern edge of the New Forest, Ocknell is a peaceful site located on an undisturbed expanse of stunning heathland. Consisting of a mix of open spaces and secluded hideaways amongst the trees, this picturesque site offers a true back-to-nature experience, with wild ponies roaming freely around the area. It lies just a mile from another Camping in the Forest campsite, Longbeech.
The 280 pitches at Ocknell are accompanied by toilets, washbasins and dishwashing facilities – though no showers. Pitches available include grass and good hardstanding and shelter for motorhomes and caravans.
The village of Fritham is a short drive away, and those willing to head a little further afield will be treated to the cathedral city of Salisbury, just 16 miles away. Bramshaw offers a convenient local shop, while a pleasant short cycle ride takes you to deer viewing at Bolderwood and deep into the heart of the New Forest.
